Dr. Gary Ensz is married to Kathy, who is an owner and the manager of the Auburn State Theatre. Gary and Kathy have two children, Andrew, who is a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, and Mary, who is attending Creighton University as well. Andrew, and his wife, Melissa, have recently returned from the Peace Corps.

Dr. Ensz enjoys jogging, hiking, and is an amateur journalist.
